The Kissing Gate.

At the end of their street stood the Kissing gate. Every time anyone said the word, Kissing gate, it sounded so romantic. It reminded Lucy of teenage love, missed school afternoons, bluebells and snowdrops. It was, of course named after its design, the hinged flap which would thwart any attempt by a sheep or cow to escape from the fields.
