I am based in beautiful Buckinghamshire, South-East England, and I enjoy my work in the National Health Service.
I have always enjoyed writing and taking photographs, as hobbies. I was inspired to start this blog in June 2017 after completing the online ‘Start Writing Fiction Course’ through Future Learn to get feedback on my creative writing but I have increasingly enjoyed rising to the challenges of the daily Word Prompt and the Weekly Photo Challenge.
I had dreamed of writing the story of ‘Mango Crumble’ for many years and last year I finally completed writing the feature-length film script. It is a coming of age story about a Punjabi-Indian girl who immigrates to Britain in the early 1970’s. In June this year, I was given the amazing opportunity to work with a final year Script Developer and we are now in the middle of a six month re-working of the script. It has been an incredible experience and I am really excited about how the script has evolved.
I look forward to sharing my experiences with you through writing and my photographs. As a new writer and photographer, I welcome feedback, comments and suggestions.
